Crying over milk that ain't been spilt's anxiety,
Drown, drown, drown, drown, drown, drown for me,
When you dry out and you be what they want you to be,
Drown, drown, drown, drown drown, drown for me,
Drown, drown, drown, drown for me,
Drown, drown, drown, drown for me,
Drown, drown, drown, drown for me,
Drown, drown, drown, drown, drown for me.
War is just one big business and you've sucked so much corporate cock you'd probably vomit jizz,
And they've rammed it down your throat since the day you could have ideas, consume until blood drips from your ears,
Prejudice propaganda corrupting the young,
But it ain't 1930's Germany it's now in The Sun,
Front page a toddler washed up on the beach,
Flick to page 5 'what's Prince George wearing this week?'
There's a few raised eyebrows but they're on fleek,
Your make up is intact why would you swim out too deep,
Sympathy? Not even nearly,
The most factual part of your paper is Dear Deirdre,
Trust me I can't be trusted honestly,
Honesty is the best policy honestly,
Honour me with your own dishonesty,
Honestly it breaks up the monotony.
Crying over milk that ain't been spilt's anxiety,
Drown, drown, drown, drown, drown, drown for me,
When you dry out and you be what they want you to be,
Drown, drown, drown, drown drown, drown for me,
Drown, drown, drown, drown for me,
Drown, drown, drown, drown for me,
Drown, drown, drown, drown for me,
Drown, drown, drown, drown, drown for me.
Untouchable they want to touch what they can't touch,
Endure the pain to the embrace the rush,
Stand out from the crowd you can hear the hush,
If you don't like The Smiths you can't sit with us,
And they're banging on about are you in or are you out,
Watch another sitcom put another pill in your mouth,
The mouth of the south is about to jump up from the couch,
Point at the TV and shout 'immigrants out!',
Bound to be bound to the crowd,
Free thinking ain't aloud,
Patriotism got you feeling all English and proud,
But what have planted in this oh so holy ground,
Nothing! You contaminate with what you spout.
Crying over milk that ain't been spilt's anxiety,
Drown, drown, drown, drown, drown, drown for me,
When you dry out and you be what they want you to be,
Drown, drown, drown, drown drown, drown for me,
Drown, drown, drown, drown for me,
Drown, drown, drown, drown for me,
Drown, drown, drown, drown for me,
Drown, drown, drown, drown, drown for me.
YEEEES!
YEEEES!
Twenty years later than I would have liked, but hells yes! I stumbled upon "No manners in Ireland" yesterday, cueing the easiest binge buy in a while. This is a nice blend of skillful instrumentalism, great lead voice and good tunes. The old Toasters / Madness / Bosstones fan in me is bouncing off the ceiling again. Thank you for that. You seem to be gathering steam as well. Here's to a long run! raphaelhythlodai
I can safely say I've never been this excited over a piece of plastic in my entire life! This is awesome! It's impossible to pick a favourite when every track is a banger. The lyrics are on point and delivered with an acerbic wit and passion that leaves me in no doubt that they're spoken from the heart. I need more of this in my life! Dylan Barry
